Technical Support Rep - Ref: USTSR
The Technical Support Representative works directly with customers through phone and/or email to answer questions regarding GFI Software and telephony hardware operation. The ideal candidate will have a 2 yr. Degree or equivalent work experience, Windows NT/2000 experience a must, Windows 2003/MS Exchange/Fax and Telephony skills a plus. Position also requires excellent communication and customer service skills.

MALTA - San Gwann
Software Tester - Ref: MTST
Forming part of GFI’s Quality Assurance Team, your primary responsibility will be that of testing GFI products to ensure that a good quality final product is delivered to GFI customers. You will also assist in establishing product software and hardware requirements, benchmarks and sizing guidelines. Additionally, you will work on reproducing, investigating and resolving product defects escalated by the Customer Support Team. To make the team, you should be a fast learner who possesses good organizational and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of networking and Microsoft operating systems is required. Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Exchange Server, ISA Server and SQL Server, as well as programming skills and relevant qualifications, will be considered an asset. This is a full-time role.
Web Developer - Ref: MTWD
This full-time post within GFI’s Applications Development department involves developing and/or designing web applications for use by our global customer base and internally at GFI. Applicants must have a high level of expertise in the .Net Framework v2.0 and v3.5 using C# and ASP.NET. They must also be acquainted in object-oriented development and familiar in multi-tier software architecture. Experience of other technologies that are specific to web development is also required, such as: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML and XSLT. A related degree or diploma from an accredited body and knowledge of SQL Server 2005, Ajax, jQuery would be considered an asset. Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work under own initiative with minimal supervision are a must.
Technical Communicator - Ref: MTTC
As part of GFI’s Technical Communications team, you will work closely with the Product Engineering groups to design the next generation of GFI software. In this role you must identify product usability issues as well as create technically detailed User Interface prototypes which are user-friendly and in line with current industry standards. You will also be actively involved in the maintenance of product documentation by liaising with subject matter experts to further flesh-out documentation requirements. As Technical Communicator, you must also run software usability testing and communicate with end-users to identify customer experience issues. Based on this feedback, you will then need to measure and report on our products' ‘ease of use’ factor as well as propose UI updates to make GFI products more appealing and simpler to use. To succeed in this full-time role, you must possess an excellent command of English, a solid technical background, a keen eye for detail and creative problem-solving skills. Established IT documentation abilities and educational background, and/or work experience in any Technical Communications field, UI/web design, customer experience and UI/software development posts will be considered an asset.
Windows C++ and C# programmer - Ref: MTWP
As part of GFI's team of programmers, you will work with the latest tools and develop software for Microsoft server applications - including IIS, Windows 2003 and Exchange Server. Your work will involve developing cutting edge technologies, such as content filtering, anti-spam, email security, intrusion detection and more. Experience in C++ programming OR C# and .NET is a must. You must be able to work on projects independently. Knowledge of web development will be considered an asset. This is a full-time post.

Sales Executive - A/NZ Region - Ref: AUSE
Responsible for the over achievement of sales revenue targets through the sale of GFI license product to new and existing customers. Responds to incoming calls and emails from customers with questions, requesting quotations and dealing with all issues as they arise. Proactively makes outbound sales calls to customers in the territory to drive (up sell/cross sell) new business license sales to new and existing customers as well as the distribution and management of GFI leads. This is a key role in the Sales team and requires the energy and initiative to do whatever it takes to meet the customer expectations.
